VS Ace Romero: Flashy

Vs ~ctjamjellyThis is kinda meh in terms of last one, ain't it? haha... Finals were insane. Two all nighters in a row does wonders for brain functions, don't it? I'm actually kinda happy with how it came out, really. Especially Faye's shading and the solarbeam... or rather, lunarbeam... allow me to explain...

Ace was looking for a fight, and snagged one in the form of Athens. Athens was leaving for something in the middle of the night, a contest of sorts. Athens had only two of his monsters to Ace's six, and since Faye needed the experience...

Both being coordinators at some point, they decided that the best way to fight was with their flashiest monsters, Ace's Ampharos, Flash, and Athens' Cherrim, Faye. Faye pulled out Sunny Day early, but got an interesting surprise when the sun failed to rise, but the moon started to beat down heavily on the beachside fight... Flash went in for Brick Break eventually, but Faye was ready to try out Solarbeam... Surprisingly, it worked. Well, surprising to two humans and an electric llama/giraffe/kangaroo...

Science time! The light from the moon is just the sun's light reflected off of it's surface. Hence, moonlight is just sunlight, just bounced off of a huge space-rock mirror. and Giraffes and sheep are int he same family. And ampharos rings more toward kangaroo than llama to me. I digress.
